Gilles Ollier is a naval architect, which was formed alongside Jean Marie Finot. He is also the founder of Multiplast. He remained at the head of the shipyard from 1981 to 2009 and he developed in the same time Gilles Ollier Design Team, a firm that despite its modest size has designed sailboats among the fastest in the world: Club Med, Innovation Explorer, Team Adventure and Warta Polpharma for the Race and also Orange and Orange II former “Trophée Jules Verne” holder. These beautiful designs have allowed the team of Gilles Ollier to win the medal of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects of England, in 2006. Gilles Ollier also collaborated with Kelt for some models.
