German Frers - Naval designer
German Frers

German Frers is an inherent of a great family of Argentinean architects: he took over the office after his father, with whom he began working in 1958, continuing nowadays with his son. These three generations have given birth to more than 1,200 yachts. Many of them have shone in regattas, IMS, IRC, Maxi (Matador) but also for the America's Cup (Il Moro di Venezia), the Transpacific or the Whitbread. Today the office produces mostly beautiful and tall ships: they are the architects of all the Swans since 1985, as well as around twenty Wally boats.
