Archambault
Suspens
Fin keel

The Suspens looks like a big Surprise, and even if she seems a Half Tonner she is, as his eldest, released from any rules, to provide maximum performance. The extra length allows to offer most comfortable accommodations. The layout is not classic, one double berth on each side under the cockpit, a fairly advanced mess and a toilet / sail cargo compartment on fore part.

In 1984, Suspens is revised to become the Suspens 84, she adopted a large transom lengthening the hull of 90cm – 3ft, a 40cm longer mast and accommodations are completely redesigned. The toilet moves back and frees the space for a double cabin in front. The mess is slightly reduced and there is only one double berth under the cockpit. With these changes, she is 400kg – 880 lbs heavier but with a longer waterline and a most important sail plan she is faster than the Suspens, before 1984.
