Bénéteau
First 300 Spirit

The First 300 Spirit continues the approach of the First 210 Spirit and the First 260 Spirit, simple accommodations in a fast and attractive hull. The two smaller models have truly convinced, First 300 Spirit has been less successful. The reason is probably the relatively small interior space and the low headroom. But the important thing is not that, thanks to this compromise and a small freeboard, she gets to maintain the overall weight around 3 tons. She sail fast at all angles. Even if she is stiffer than the First 310 she will require a good helmsman upwind to show her full potential.

In 1998 she was replaced by the First 31.7, who uses successfully the same hull by adding spacious interiors.
