Nacra F16

The Nacra F16 is as its name suggests a beach catamaran designed under the Formula 16 rules. She is therefore suitable for light crews (between 120kg and 140kg). For this new race-oriented catamaran Nacra called again upon Morrelli & Melvin architects. The Nacra F16 uses some of their latest development for example: "wave-piercing" bows associated high volume hulls.

Hardware such as construction is neat. The hulls are made of fiberglass / epoxy with carbon reinforcements in strategic places. The appendages are made of carbon / epoxy. The platform, assembled with inserts, provides excellent rigidity. The hardware is supplied entirely by Harken and well dimensioned with for example a 10 strands Cunningham. All running rigging lines are driven to the trapeze position and are perfectly adjustable in navigation.
