Sun Fast 3200

The Sun Fast 3200 marks a turning point in the range of Sun Fast; rather than giving a boost to a Sun Odyssey, a platform was developed specifically for the program. The design specification is ambitious: offer a light sailboat, fast and accessible, both financially (under € 100,000) and technically. The massive use of the infusion, hull, deck but also bulkheads, helps contain the weight. Inside there is volume but the need to gain weight is felt, for example all the lockers and doors are made of textile. Not even real table, just a tray for easy flow to the sail locker in front.

By sailing the Sun Fast 3200 is fast especially while reaching. The deck layout as the rigging remains simple and the two rudders allow control at all times. The success appears quickly the Sun Fast 3200 won the title of "European Boat of the Year" in 2008 and major regattas.
