First 260 Spirit
Lifting keel

The First 260 Spirit is a small fast cruising sailboat. The architects and the shipyard tried to find the best compromise between performance, safety, comfort and accessibility. The majority of First 260 Spirit is equipped with a lifting keel and two hinged rudders allowing a very low draft while providing stiffness and efficient anti-drift plan.

The accommodations are simple, functional and modern. An independent cabin, a galley, and separate water closet it is good in 7.5m – 24.6ft but there is a lack of storage space to consider living long on board. In 2005 the First 260 spirit left the catalog, but was replaced/renamed Bénéteau First 25.7 S.
