Gibert Marine
Gib'Sea 96
Deep draft

When the Gib'Sea 96 came to market it was rare that a 10m - 33ft sailboat had even two cabins. Considering this, it is no wonder that as a new arrival, the Gib'Sea 96 was almost a sensation with its three cabins. Above all the secret was to make the boat's aft wider than before. Besides that the shipyard and the architects used all their tricks, like the skew bulkhead and the extra cushions making the cabins' bunks longer when in use. The result is astonishing. The saloon with its sofas placed shaped as “L” gives the impression of a spacious interior. Only the front cabin that seems a bit tight.

Despite the compact design the Gib'Sea 96 is really well equipped with big fresh water tanks (250l - 66 gallons), double sinks and oven in the kitchen... Still, the boat performs well in the sea even with light winds keeping her not too heavy.

For those wishing to set sails with a lighter crew, the 'Master' version might be more convenient with its two roomy cabins and the aft bathroom.
