First 30E
Deep draft

To replace the First 30, Bénéteau launched in 1981 the First30E. E stands for "First Evolution" the Half Tonner, winner of the Half Ton Cup in 1981, from which she is from. The First 30E therefore has nothing to do with the original Mauric plan, but as her elder she made a mark racing especially in the sporting version called ES, equipped with a 7/8 sail plan, a lead keel and lightweight accommodations.

Inside, some changes, this new version aims to be more chic: lots of wood panelling and a small rear cabin, in which the chart table is located. No more bunks above the mess, but it can turn into a double bed.
