Jouët 24

Jouët 24 was the result of the first cooperation between naval architect Daniel Tortarolo and the Yachting France shipyard. The goals were set very high, designers aimed to produce a proper small cruising monohull with excellent performance. To achieve this target, Jouët 24 has a particular setup of accommodation: instead of the bow cabin the WC is placed at the front of the boat. This gives more room for the saloon. The kitchen and the fixed navigation table are placed in the widest point of the hull in order to allow them maximum of space. This setting results also in improved weight balance, but the price to pay is the missing double bed.

The 7/8 fractional sloop rigging and the pushing spreader angle give Jouët 24 a beautiful modern appearance, yet improved by the coachroof form. And it's not just the looks, when the Jouët 24 was brought to market; it was among the fastest of its category.
