Sun Shine 38
Owner / Centerboard

Choose an other version:

Sun Shine 38 is based on Justine III, the One Tonner winner in Crosshaven in 1981. She appeared at the Jeanneau catalogue in 1982 with the name Sun Shine. In 1987 the boat was renamed as Sun Shine 36 and then again as Sun Shine 38 with a prolonged transom. Just as her precursor, Sun Shine 38 has outshined in competitions such as Marseille Week or Kiel Week, but also in offshore race such as Route du Rhum, where the participants ended up taking the 1st and 2nd positions in their series.

With all this success it's easy to forget that Sun Shine 38 is actually a cruiser sailboat. Jeanneau brought the boat on the market in two versions: Proprietaire (Owner) has two cabins whereas Team comes with three cabins. In the latter the WC is situated in the front of the boat and the boat is 55cm - 1,8ft shorter than the Owner version.
