Bénéteau
First 22
Lifting keel

The First 22 is a variation of Clementine, a mini tonner designed by Jean Marie Finot. The important volume of the hull benefits both to the livability and the performances while providing excellent seaworthiness. The main innovation of this small trailerable monohull is a lifting keel which offers stability and shallow draft.

Inside, unlike the competition, the First 22 is partitioned and equipped with fixed installations, in front of the mess there is the kitchen on both side of the passage leading to the fore cabin. No door here, but a curtain with a zipper. In navigation the mess table covers the kitchen at port side serving as a chart table.
