Quorning Boats - Shipyard
Quorning Boats

Quorning Boats is a Danish shipyard founded in 1967 by Børge Quorning. After starting with producing any type of boat, the shipyard, in 1981, focuses on trimarans, released under the Dragonfly brand. The idea, from the beginning, is to offer a very high quality boat, fast and innovative. Børge Quorning is joined by his son Jens Quorning in 1978, which lead the shipyard since 1995.

In 1988, they proposed "Swing Wing", a folding system making Dragonfly compact at harbor and transportable. Introduced on the Dragonfly 800, it is now present on all models of Quorning Boats.

Today the shipyard is known for the manufacturing quality and the good design of its models as shown in the title "European Yacht Of The Year" in 2004 for the Dragonfly 920 Extreme and in 2008 for the Dragonfly 35 Ultimate.
